About
I am a Counselling Psychologist in Private Practice in Norwood, Gauteng. I completed my undergraduate BSc degree in Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand. I then completed my BSc Honours Degree in Psychology at the University of South Africa. During my training I worked as a telephonic counsellor at the South African Depression and Anxiety Group.
I completed my Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Pretoria, with my elective being sports psychology. I gained experience at university counselling services, High Performance Centre, and run outreach projects with street kids in Pretoria.
Following the completion of my Masters Degree I completed a year internship at Counselling and Careers Development Unit at the University of the Witwatersrand. I gained further experience with regards to careers counselling and psychometric testing.
I then moved to the United Kingdom to broaden my experiences. I was the recovery co-ordinator for Restore, North Oxfordshire. It was a charity that focused on supporting people with mental health needs to return to work.
I have now returned to South Africa, and I currently run my private practice in Norwood. I also work at sports department of the University of the Witwatersrand.
