She currently runs her private practice in a tranquil garden setting in Orchards, Johannesburg. She is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa with an official practice number from the Board of Healthcare Funders.
She works with clients of all ages and from all walks of life who are grappling with life difficulties. She offers therapy for individuals, couples, families and adolescents, and play therapy for children. The aim is to help them heal, grow and move towards a more productive and psychologically healthy life.
Margie has worked for a variety of institutions including the Child and Adult Guidance Unit at RAU, the Johannesburg Children’s Home and a number of schools in the Johannesburg area. She is also a founding member of a collaborative group of professional psychologists working as volunteers for the St. Columba’s Church Care Centre, established in 2013 and designed to offer a counselling service to the local community.
