About
I am a counselling psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Health and Care Professions Council UK (HCPC). I did my undergraduate degree and postgraduate training at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Pietermaritzburg. I have been in private practice since 2010 and living and working in Cape Town since 2015. I also work as an academic and researcher. I am a member of the Cape Town Society for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and am involved in both individual and group supervision and reading groups. My therapeutic approach is primarily informed by psychodynamic and relational/intersubjective theories and by attachment theory research.
