Brigitte Stanford has always been intrigued by light and motion thus AFDA was the obvious choice of further studies on completion of her schooling. After graduating in 2010 with a BA Degree and having Chaired the SRC she immediately kicked off her career with Producing an Indie film “There are no heroes”. The film achieved fantastic reviews and went on to win a Bronze Lourie in 2011. Stanford felt that her role in production still left her creative needs unattended and so in between being involved in production in the heady world of commercial service work in South Africa she began to explore photography.
