About
The DBC Back & Neck Clinic at Ashleigh Hall & Associates (AHA) offers a multi-disciplinary approach to treat patients who suffer with back and neck pain through an evidence-based and highly specialised program.
The practitioners are qualified Biokineticists, Physiotherapists, as well as General Practitioners, who are also DBC-accredited practitioners.
These practitioners treat private patients, as well as patients that are enrolled in the DBC Back & Neck program.
A Cognitive-Behavioural Approach (CBA) is one of the approaches that is utilised by DBC practitioners in order to treat chronic pain patients; this assists in the Pain Management process by addressing external factors that can influence a person’s pain.
The focus of DBC leans towards functional restoration, by means of physical rehabilitative exercise, manual therapy and pain neuroscience education (PNE) as a way of promoting a lifestyle change – starting from commencement of the patient’s rehabilitation program and continuing after the program has ended.
