About
South African architect Jacques Cronje has spent his entire career working with wood; initially in technical detailing for timber homes and resorts, and since 2007, focusing on the design of timber homes and projects via his architectural practice in Cape Town, Jacques Cronje Timber Design.
His primary focus is the design and provision of architectural services for sustainable and timber projects, and his aim with each design project, large or small, is to provide architectural design solutions that minimise environmental impact and maximise the efficient utilisation of materials, and include aspects of biophilic design while focusing on the specific requirements of each client and site.
